Thanksgiving Dinner Menu Favorites 🦃 🍁

Thanksgiving is this Thursday here in the US! If you haven't started planning yet, don't worry, there's still plenty of time. Allow me to help with some of my Thanksgiving favorites.

You can check out my entire Thanksgiving Recipe Collection Here.

Here are some of my favorites!

Easy Dinner Rolls - these are no knead, fluffy, and the perfect vehicle for mopping up all that gravy. Speaking of which...

Here's how to make turkey gravy from drippings. It's easier than you think - be sure to have some extra butter and chicken broth handy if you need to supplement the drippings. And for a vegetarian option, try this mushroom gravy.

I love this rosemary infused potato and cauliflower mash for a twist on plain traditional mashed potatoes.

Or, try this maple brown butter mashed sweet potatoes and butternut squash. HEAVEN!

Cranberry sauce is a must, if only for leftover sandwiches after the holiday! This spiced orange cranberry sauce is easy to make and packed with flavor. And if you have any extra, you can make this cranberry baked brie en croute for an app!

Instead of green bean casserole, I love making Greek-style green beans. I find casserole to be so heavy - these are light and bright.

Maple and Rosemary Glazed sweet potatoes add a pop of color and sweet flavor to your plate, and this sweet potato casserole is topped with an almond streusel.

For the main event, I'm a fan of a Slow Cooker Turkey Breast - cooking a boneless (or bone-in!) breast in the slow cooker ensures super juicy flavorful results every time, it's completely hands-off, and the oven is open for, let's be honest, the more important things! This is perfect for a small crowds, as well as a really nice whole roasted chicken.

And finally, for dessert, at the risk of sounding blasphemous, I recommend pumpkin pudding instead of pumpkin pie. It's cool, creamy, and the perfect bite to end a heavy meal. Sprinkle with crushed gingersnaps and top with whipped cream - yum! Pumpkin Tiramisu is also a great option, as it's make-ahead and served cold right from the fridge.

Wishing you a stress-free Thanksgiving full of good friends and family, gratitude, and health!
